Fall has almost arrived!

August has come and gone, and the Houses have nestled into Rogers! A few major events have happened, but other than that it's business as usual! Alex still waters flowers for a lady who lives in Rogers; and she still makes crafty things on the side. Well, she tries to, and then gives them away as gifts! Hunter is constantly meeting new people, learning how to be a pastor, teaching, and lots of other stuff keeping him busy with the new job! While most things he does are with the Rogers community exclusively, September 23rd he will be giving announcements in big church! He's a bit nervous about standing in front of 1200 adults, but let's be honest, he could talk to a brick wall and keep it engaged in the conversation.
Among our "major" events was Nicole's moving into the University of Arkansas! After we hung the pictures, it looked like she had been there for months. Her room is adorable, but we had completely forgotten how small those dorm rooms are! After the first week and a half, we had the pleasure of having Nicole over for a Saturday. Her and Alex went shopping (the Lily and Laura bracelets below were part of the trip. They are made by women in Nepal), painted some pots and went up to Fellowship to see Hunter teach at NEScape (Ajunior high weekend retreat).
Tonight, we went to a friend's junior high football game in Springdale and wow was the wind blowing! Ya, the football was a blowout game, but hurricane Isaac is on its way and today has been quite windy!
