We have officially started our second vacation together and our first road trip as a married couple! We are currently in Liberal, Kansas - you don't know where that is? Ya, we didn't either. It's in the very southwest corner of Kansas.
Our journey will take us through the Sand Dunes National Park, the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, the Petrified Forest, Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Amarillo! We wanted to share some of the things we see with you, in case you're interested! Today Alex saw her first real life prairie dog as well as a pheasant; We both had a first when we saw about 5 different cars of storm chasers. We drove through a major storm, with quarter size hail. We also passed through quite a few towns that are about a mile long and had very cute almost ghost-town like feel. Here are some pictures from the day - note, it's very very flat with lots of farm land!
