Hello from Tuba City, Arizona! Just to give you a perspective, we are about 1.75 hrs away from the Grand Canyon, and about (what feels like) a million miles from anything that resembles a big city. Despite the endless drives, we have found a few pretty awe-inspiring things to keep us occupied. We will add a few pictures below to enhance this blog-reading experience. We want to include just a few happenings from each day because quite frankly, besides lots of driving and sight seeing, out the window, there wasn't much else that happened!
Day 2 consisted of driving from Liberal, KS to South Fork, CO. We stopped at a few places along the way: Trinidad, CO (for lunch, and Alex's bladder was about to implode and she was too much of a girl to go on the side of the road), the Sand Dunes National Park, the Colorado Gator Farm, and then we finally made it to our destination for the night in South Fork.
Day 3 started off at a brisk 49 degrees up in the mountains! We drove through the mountains and actually took a few pictures at the Continental Divide! We stopped in Durango, CO for lunch and then at a couple antique shops - got some bowties for Hunter, and a few oil cans for Alex's mom. Our next stop, before hitting Tuba City, was the Four Corners Monument. It's the only point in the United States of America where four states come to a point: Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona. Once arriving in Tuba City, AZ we quickly realized that we were in the Hopi territory. It's also very very hot. Luckily, there is no humidity like NWA, but regardless, it's blazing outside!

| Hunter held a gator! It's name is Coco, she was rescued and is 7 years old (stunted growth due to captivity in a small tank) |
| Alex was too scared to hold the gator, go figure, but was more than willing to hold a week old black sheep! It's mother had abandoned it and his brother and was taken in by the farm |
| One of the 5 gator ponds. This was the small-medium gators |
| They also had an albino gator, two ostriches, four emus (with eggs), two white geese, about 8 ducks, big tortoises, a ton of fish, snakes, lizards, caiman, and snapping turtles. |
| All the water on the left (Hunter) flows to the Atlantic ocean. All the water on the right (Alex) flows to the pacific! |
